116 Loyola Student-Athletes Named To MAAC Honor Roll

EDISON, N.J. - Loyola University Maryland had 116 student-athletes were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll this week.

To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, an athlete must hold a grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members of the MAAC with athletes represented in all 24 sports that the conference sponsors.

Jessica Peters (track & field), Marin Smith (rowing) each concluded the year with perfect 4.0 cumulative GPAs. Women’s rower Catriona Miller had the highest GPA among women’s graduating seniors at 3.85 and men’s rower Christopher Golon had the highest GPA among graduating men at 3.88.

The Loyola men’s rowing team was honored in May as having the best team cumulative grade point average at the school, and had seven members earn spots on the MAAC Academic Honor Roll.
